About

Ever since I was a child books meant the world to me. They were my escape into amazing new worlds and I read every chance I got. When I started as a Speech-Language Pathologist in 1996 I started focusing on my profession. Teaching is a 9-10 hour workday with work on the weekends. I had minimal time for my passion to continue. In Summer 2025 I had a second cancer recurrence and in January 2026 I retired early to focus on ME. One part of me that I am starting to revisit is READING. As a person with multiple chronic illnesses they could easily overwhelm me. Yet I don’t let them. I stay active and escape into the wonderful fantasy worlds that get written everyday!

I have become an ARC reader for many Indie Authors. Reading is healing for me and I enjoy helping others with what they have written. I’m also starting a Home Editing business, with a focus on grammar errors, inconsistencies, plot, and more. Giving authors a way to get editing at a cost effective price helping them send their best versions of their masterpieces out into the world!

May you enjoy my insights and find some good books yourself!
